Yoga for Arthritis & Fibromyalgia

Finally, a yoga class for people suffering from joint pain and stiffness associated with conditions such as arthritis and fibromyalgia. In this class, students will use chairs rather than yoga mats; this makes the class accessible for all those who have difficulty moving to the floor, and back up to standing. This class is designed to provide relief from the pain associated with arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and generalized r and stiffness. Students will practice gentle movements, stretches, and relaxation, using the chair, the wall, and a combination of standing and seated poses. No need to get down to the floor -- there's plenty you can do standing, and seated in a chair! No prior experience with yoga required. FOUR TUESDAYS IN NOVEMBER.
